In the 21st century Nigeria, naivety still pervades its politics:
It is shocking and embarrassing to learn that in the midst of the position-sharing crisis at the Apex Legislative Assembly, Buhari who has chosen and has been so advised to play the silent sentinel behaving like a pendulum is being honoured with the excellent attribute of a tolerant, unobtrusive, non-interferring democrat who is giving all sides in the fracas the wide democratic space to exhibit their felinity and dogtitude. Truth is, Buhari and the Arewa cohorts out to pursue the ONE NORTH AGENDA are merely hibernating at the background, quietly moving things and directing the course of events at the ALA, hence to say that Buhari is non-committal, uninterested and nonchallant is to exhibit the worst form of pitiful and incurable naivety which is tantamount to a gross lack of the basic understanding of the complexity of the Nigerian politics as far as power struggle between the North and the South of Nigeria is concerned.
What is more, whilst the crisis at the ALA persists with its potential capacity to get messier, if not quickly arrested, Buhari, unknown to Nigerians, particularly the likes of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Bisi Akande, John Odigie-Oyegun and Rotimi Amaechi, is quietly recloning the Nigerian State in the image of Sharia through all of his appointments thus far, especially such appointments starting with Ahmed Joda (Muslim/North), as Chairman of his own side of the transition committee, knowing full well that the former President, Goodluck Ebele Jonahtan had chosen his Vice President, a Muslim in the person of treacherous Namadi Sambo (Muslim/North).
Other such appointments which have confirmed our earlier assertion that Buhari, a jihadi-Sharia bigot, an ethnicist and regionalist is a conginital nepotist and an Islamist include:
1. Acting Accountant General of the Federation Mohammed Dikwa (Muslim/North);
2. Acting Chairperson of the so-called Independent National Electoral Commission, Mrs Amina Bala Zakari (Muslim/North), who replaced another Muslim Ambassador Ahmed Wali (Muslim/North) who held that post for just 8 hours after treacherous Atahiru Jega, another Muslim from the North of Nigeria had resigned.
3. Chief of Staff to the President, Col. Hameed Ibrahim Ali, former Military Administrator of kaduna State (Muslim/North);
4. Chief Security Officer to the President, Abdulrahman Mani (Muslim/North;
5. The President's ADC, Lt. Col. Muhammed Lawal Abubakar from Kano (Muslim/North;
7. State Chief of Protocol Lawal Abdullahi Kazaure (Muslim/North;
8. Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu (Muslim/North);
9. Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity Femi Adesina (Christian/South West);
THE APEX LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY
Senate President, Senator Abubakar Olubukola Saraki (Muslim, North Central);
Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu (Christian/South East);
Speaker of the House, Yakubu Dogara, Bauchi State (Muslim/North East)
Deputy Speaker of the House, Hon. Yusuf Sulaiman Lasun, Muslim/South West;
Chief of Staff to the Senate President: Senator Isa Gbadu (Muslim);
Special Adviser to the Senate President: Yusuph Olaniyonu (Muslim/South West);

HEAD OF SERVICE AS PART OF THE PRESIDENT'S TEAMLESS TEAM
Mr Danladi Kifasi (North).
Whilst Nigeria is being cloned in Sharia/Muslim image, it is very unfortunate that the Christians in Nigeria have as ever remained largely ignorant and stupidly displaying their trademark ignorance of and total lack of knowledge of their country reducing as usual, everything to prayer without action. And Pastor Oluleke Osinbajo just sits there like a rubber stamp! But the Bible says "Faith (prayer) without actions/works is dead."
Christians in Nigeria are so timid and naive to the point of not speaking out when it matters the most or fighting for their constitutional rights as in such other aberrations in the body politics as Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), beginning from September 25th, 1969 in the Kingdom of Morocco when Yakubu Gowon, a Christian sent a delegation led by Sheikh Abubakar Gumi in an observer status capacity to the eventual membership of Nigeria under Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida in 1986; membership of Developing - 8 under Sani Abacha; Sharia under Olusegun Obasanjo, a Christian; the Muslim/Muslim ticket of Moshood Kashimawo Abiola/Baba Gana Kingibe and the recent Muslim/Muslim Chairmanship of the National Transition Committee in which Muhammadu Buhari deliberately brushed his Vice President Professor Oluleke Osinbajo aside, thereby excluding the Christian community in Nigeria of the headship of that so-called national committee.
What is more, since the inauguration of President Muhammadu Buhari on May 29th, 2015, the Christians and Southerners have been sleeping and snoring, whilst Buhari the arch agent of Arewa is quietly and steadily making what I'd like to call TELEGRAPHIC APPOINTMENTS OR TELEGRAPHIC RECRUITMENTS, so the Nigerian people don't decode his islamic intent - and all these are in blatant disregard for national inclusivity.
Prior to the campaign, throughout the campaign and up till now, I have been warning the nation Buhari is not a nationalist/patriot/statesman, so would not ensure balance in the polity, and thus far, I have been vindicated.
Whilst all I stand for and would like to be remembered for as I course through this life is my stance on justice and fairness; peace, progress and universal altruism for all humanity, it is saddening to note that Southerners have continued to play the role of second class citizens in their own country and allowed their compatriots on the other half of the nation to fix themselves in all strategic offices in the land in the manner of the errors of the past.
Again and again, we have cried out that Bola Ahmed Tinubu like Obafemi Awolowo went into an alliance with the House of Uthman Dan Fodio without terms, conditions and benefits - in this strange alliance, did not spell out how elective offices/political offices in the land and abroad would be shared and the North which have from the beginning known what they wanted in the Nigerian Federation, especially whilst the Union lasted, and acting on a script dating back to the colonial period have always demonstrated foresight and supra-level strategy - so the whole delay of all motion and no movement may just be a strategically delayed tactics to wangle their way through, manoeuvre and corner things to themselves after all!
Will anyone be surprised if the highly vindictive Buhari ask Ita Ekpeyong the Director General of the DSS and Marilyn Ogar, the DSS's spokeswoman to go and rest in order to pave the way for his kinspeople to mount their posts?
But whilst the water is just ankle deep or it is morning yet on creation day in the life of the APC-led administration, will other Nigerians rise and join with me in demanding fairness and balance in all apects of the nation's life and force Muhammadu Buhari to do the needful and patriotic thing?
Meanwhile, who will be occupying the Ministry of Defence, DSS, NSA, Foreign Affairs, Energy, NNPC, IGP, Armed Forces Chiefs, Police Service Commission, Code of Conduct Bureau, federal Charater Commission, Agriculture and Water Resources, Environment, Immigration, Interior, Customs and Excise, Civil Defence - Embassies/High Commissions in frontlines States such as the USA, UK, Germany and France?
Nigeria, with all thy faults, I love thee still.
God bless Nigeria and all of her GREAT PEOPLE!
