Vigilance can confirm that Osama Bin Laden believed to be responsible for the deaths of many worldwide including those of 9/11 which claimed over 3000 deaths has been killed by the US Special Force, just 62 miles away from Islamabad, in Pakistan.
Ludicrously, the Pakistani authorities have claimed they were ignorant of the presence of Bin Laden in their territory, even though he was just yards away from the elite Pakistani Military Academy.
As Vigilance gathered, there is currently a flurry of jubilations in the US, particularly in New York and in some parts of the world.
But some leaders like US President Barack Obama who personally broke the news to the world urged caution as he said this is not the end of the war on terror.
Urging vigilance, Obama who praised the extraordinary courage of the US Special Force said: “American people did not call for this fight. Americans understand the cost of war. We will be true to our core values...we can say to those families who had lost their loved ones to terror that justice has been done.”
British Prime Minister Rt. Hon David Cameron to whom Vigilance learnt President Obama was on phone after the great feat had been carried out said: "It is a great success that he has been found and will no longer be able to pursue his campaign of global terror."
Although PM Cameron said the news of his death would be welcomed in the UK, he however warned:"Of course, it does not mark the end of the threat we face from extremist terror - indeed we will have to be particularly vigilant in the weeks ahead. But it is, I believe, a massive step forward."
Meanwhile, other world leaders like French Republic’s President Nikolas Sarkozy has joined President Obama and PM Cameron to urge vigilance across the world, as the two leaders have already asked that security be strengthened in all sensitive and strategic places within the US and Britain including their Embassies abroad.
