My message to those who were involved in criminality is that you will not get away with it. We have a huge team of dedicated officers working on this investigation and we will find you. We are determined to bring everyone who committed these outrageous acts of criminality to justice and more arrests will follow.
DCS Greany added: "The investigation is a huge challenge and one that we will continue to tackle for some time to come, but I want to reassure London's communities that we are committed to proactively targeting people who were involved and will continue to ensure that justice is done. We have charged more than 1,700 people to date and have got to this point with fantastic support from the public. We need your help to identify those who were responsible for the crimes that blighted London's communities in August. I urge anyone with any information to come forward."
