London (UK), Paisley (Scotland) and New York (US): Varonis - the leader in comprehensive data governance software, has confirmed that the University of West Scotland (UWS) is using DatAdvantage. Scotland's largest modern university is using DatAdvantage for Windows to track and monitor which of its 2,000 users, across four campuses, are accessing its resources and what they are doing. As part of its ICT audit, it will use the solution to answer the fundamental question of who had access to its shared drives with a comparative degree of detail and granularity.

Winnweiler/Langmeil, Germany: MOBOTIX AG has launched three new camera models with higher frame rate, better light sensitivity, better zoom capability utilizing 5 Megapixel technology.

The new camera models S15, D15 and V15 are developed from the already successful predecessor series. By using 5 Megapixel sensors in these new camera models, the users will be able to experience clear advantages. "The most visible changes that we have made for the users are that they will experience a clearly better light sensitivity in low light conditions or at night," says Dr. Ralf Hinkel, founder of MOBOTIX AG. "The light sensitivity of the overall image quality is up to four times better, which enhances the overall image quality in for instance bad weather conditions and in the dark".

RAF Typhoon aircraft will be armed with Meteor missiles from later this decade after an agreement was signed yesterday by industry and the four Eurofighter nations, Vigilance can report.

During a short ceremony at the Paris Air Show, Defence Ministers from the UK, Germany, Italy and Spain witnessed a contract being signed between Eurofighter and NATO Eurofighter and Tornado Management Agency (NETMA) that will see the missile system integrated onto the aircraft.
