Muslims and non-Muslims in the military came together at the Ministry of Defence last week to mark Islam Awareness Week. The one day event, hosted by the Armed Forces Muslim Association, heard keynote addresses from Lord Astor of Hever, military personnel, and faith leaders, and aimed to highlight the important role of Muslims in the Armed Forces – to ensure that this national institution is representative of the society which it serves

Total Economic Impact Study Calculates Cost Savings for Enterprises Using SaaS Solution

LONDON, UK: Alert Logic has announced the findings of a commissioned Total Economic Impact (TEI) study conducted by global analyst firm Forrester Consulting on behalf of Alert Logic. Based on in-depth interviews with Alert Logic customers and their own analysis, Forrester determined that a representative composite customer could avoid $1.36 million in costs over a three-year period by deploying Alert Logic’s security solutions over in-house alternatives. It was also determined that the customer could reduce the number of systems potentially affected by security issues by 80 percent, thereby avoiding the associated downtime for affected employees.

‘People to be proud of’: BSIA announces regional award winners
