Pinkerton Government Services Inc., a company within the Securitas Group has acquired the security services company, Paragon Systems Inc. in the USA. With this acquisition, Securitas has successfully penetrated the primary government security services market in the USA. Enterprise value is estimated to MSEK 258 (MUSD 33).
Determined to explore new markets in the current globalised world of business and services, Securitas has acquired 60 percent of the shares in the security services company Bren Security in Sri Lanka. Enterprise value is estimated to MSEK 37 (MLKR 570).
Recently, the Security Industry Authority held its 4th Annual stakeholders’ conference in London, with Dr Ruth Henig, its Chairman delivering the keynote speech.
