Bethesda, MD: The SANS Institute has been selected as the Best Professional Training Program within the Professional Awards category of the 2012 SC Magazine Awards. Winners were announced February 28th at the SC Magazine Awards Gala held in conjunction with the annual RSA Conference in San Francisco.

The SANS Institute provides hands-on, intensive, immersion training designed to help students master the practical steps necessary for defending systems and networks. Courses are either job-based or skill-based and cover general security, intrusion detection, incident handing, forensics, penetration testing, application security, secure coding, management and auditing.
