Vigilance can report authoritatively that Reliance Facilities Management, a leading provider of business support solutions has appointed David King to take over from Barry Nealon as Chairman following the latter’s retirement in that position.
David King was the founder of Interior Services Group plc (ISG) in 1989 and CEO till 2006. ISG operates across the UK, Europe, Middle East and Asia with a turnover of £1bn, and David retains an involvement in both the Middle East and Asia.
Mr Barry Nealon said: “I am delighted to be handing over to David who has a formidable entrepreneurial record of success. David is an innovative business leader with strong beliefs that culture and people are what matter most in delivering outstanding customer service and growth. He will bring to the Board renewed vigour and a style of leadership we greatly admire.”
Whilst David King replied: “I am delighted to be joining CEO, Paul Crilly, and his team at such an opportune time. With customers under such pressure to improve services, lower costs and reduce their carbon footprints, Reliance Facilities Management has the expertise, technology and experience to resolve these conflicting demands. By doing so, I expect Reliance Facilities Management to grow strongly and become the FM provider of choice for discerning customers.”
On Nealon’s stewardship, Reliance Facilities Management Chief Executive, Paul Crilly, said: “I would like to thank Barry Nealon for both his stewardship of the company over the years and for the creation of the significant platform for growth he leaves us with.”
