Security Cleared Jobs, the leading UK job board for individuals with Security Clearance working across all sectors held its second Security Cleared Recruitment Expo on 5th May in Bristol.
The exhibition was held at Bristol’s Brunel Old Station from 10am to 4.30pm and was free to attend for pre-registered candidates.
The team behind the Security Cleared Jobs Expo has seen a growing need for security cleared professionals and especially in the West. The Expo had over 1,150 attendees and 42 exhibitors, an increase from the 2010 exhibition. A number of primes exhibited including Logica, Babcock, General Dynamics, GE Aviation and AWE.
Sean Smyth, Director of Security Cleared Jobs said: “This was our first Expo to be held in Bristol and a number of the exhibitors in Bristol also exhibited at our London Expo last October and were again pleased with both the number of attendees but also the quality of candidates at this event. “ Recruitment Expo’s were big in the early 90’s but in recent times have become less common as everything has moved online. The Security Cleared Jobs Recruitment Expo’s give the opportunity for candidates to meet Employers and Recruiters face to face.
“We are now going to be holding the Expo annually in Bristol and we are already planning our next Expo in London for October this year.”
