Top-performing UK partner Virtek Systems celebrates at ‘exclusive event’ during Tour’s final stage in Paris
Basingstoke, UK: As the world’s largest annual sporting event, the Tour de France is an opportunity to celebrate the highest levels of sporting excellence and physical endurance. For Barracuda Networks Inc., this year’s event was the perfect setting to acknowledge the winners of its EMEA-wide quarterly sales incentive, as the company continues to enjoy strong growth across the European region.
The content security appliance specialist, sponsors of the Garmin-Sharp-Barracuda cycle team, was joined at the finish line by its best performing partners over the past three months, including top-selling UK partner Virtek Systems, along with Barracuda Networks customers including London’s Hippodrome Casino.
Attendees were given VIP seats on the Champs-Elysees in Paris to witness the finale of the world-renowned cycling event. This rounded off a full day’s hospitality in the French capital, which also included lunch at the US Embassy.

The sales incentive was held amongst Barracuda Networks’ Diamond Partners between April and June 2012. It rewarded the best local sales performers across nine key European regions (full list below). Also rewarded were the holders of the largest customer seminar and the partner that secured the biggest individual deal.
