Agreement will see Exterro focus on expansion in the DACH region and Nuvias add unified legal GRC services to its portfolio
London, U.K: Exterro has announced an agreement with the Nuvias Group, the European high-value distributor, to act as its distribution partner across Europe. The agreement will see Nuvias offer the Forensic Tool Kit (FTK) platform, Incident & Breach Management and Smart Breach Review solutions via its channel partners and provide Exterro with sales operations and business development support.
The Nuvias Group is a fast-growing, innovative European distributor with a broad range of innovative services and solutions designed to secure customer success and accelerate partner and vendor growth. It covers a broad range of technologies including intelligent networks, unified communications, infrastructure and cyber security. The agreement with Exterro will see Nuvias add legal Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) to this offering, allowing its reseller partners to exploit synergies between data privacy, digital forensics and incident response by defensibly managing those data processes over a single platform.
Helge Scherff , Regional Vice President Central for the Nuvias Group, explains: “Exterro’s legal GRC solutions are a great fit within our security portfolio and are truly unique as they provide an end-to-end solution that covers multiple GRC disciplines. These solutions will enable our channel partners to provide their enterprise, government agency, law enforcement, law firm and legal service provider end customers with the means to tackle their diverse needs across privacy, compliance and incident response.”
From the Exterro perspective, the partnership will allow the company to capitalise on Nuvias’ presence across Europe and to target resellers in the compliance, cyber and incident response space who sell to both public sector organisations and regulated corporations. Legal compliance has become a pressing issue for both sectors due to regulatory demands such as GDPR. A primary focus for Exterro will be expansion in the DACH region into commercial markets.
“We’re already well-established across Germany, Austria and Switzerland in the public sector with customers such as Schweizer Bundesverwaltung, the Federal Administration of Switzerland, but with Nuvias we can now actively communicate our offering to the corporate market. We will be able to help these organisations unify their data processes with FTK Enterprise, Incident & Breach Management, Smart Breach Review as well as Privacy and E-Discovery solutions such as Data Inventory, Data Subject Access Request, Data Retention, In-Place Preservation and E-Discovery Data Management,” said Ian Rainsborough, Regional Vice President Channels, Exterro. “From a privacy perspective, this means they can use a single solution for GDPR compliance, data breach notification and any post-breach digital investigation, effectively creating a complementary Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) process,” he adds.
Going forward, Exterro will benefit from the regional sales and marketing expertise of Nuvias as well as technical support and training opportunities. Nuvias will provide support for Exterro both within those territories where it is already established and as it ventures into new markets, with Exterro expecting to expand in the Nordics in the near future.
