THE DUMBING DOWN OF VALUES IN THE AGE OF JONATHAN: STANDARDS IN PUBLIC LIFE BEGINNING AT THE PRESIDENCY

Having been dissatisfied over the years about the quality of men elected into the exalted office of President, I had written an essay published then in The Daily Times entitled Presidency: Exalted Office for the Exalted Minds by which I meant, that hallowed office is not to be trivialised to the point of electing or apponting people of Liliputian worth to serve therein. Correspondingly, the same applies to all persons, whether citizens or foreigners who have one business or another to do there.

Such people must recognise the fact that as far as the Nigerian Presidency is concerned, it ought to be the acme, the ultimate, the zenith, glory and grandeur of the African civilization and all of its values. But this has not been so, watching from my OBSERVATORY here in the United Kingdom as it has become a place, where anything goes and worrisomely of late, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has converted it to a brothel, where sexual lust and pleasure are to be satisfied - people whom the so-called facilitators, the President's male aides whom I know too well for their randiness, have for their own lustfulness due to their borderless morality been organising Jezebels to be around Mr President in what I call FLESH EXHIBITION, FLESH EXPO, FLESH FAIR with standardless Jonathan salivating and 'coming' before them and with eyes of the whole world upon them. This rubbish MUST stop henceforth, and stop it MUST!

Africans are not any-how people, we are the pioneers of civilization and MUST not jettison our moral and cultural discipline for borderless and strange cultures from any part of the globe, but remain who we are without apologising to anybody, hence I find it totally distasteful for the two women below to be around the President of all Persons of African ancestry in this fashion.

There must be a set standard and accountability in public life in Nigeria, having an acceptable work ethics, aspirations, goals and vision to aspire to and accomplish with rewards based not on hereditary privilege, but on competitive performance.

Also, there MUST be a national dress code in which all persons having appointments in public offices MUST adhere to henceforth, whoever such people are - be there citizens, nationals of other countries including their journalists who take delight in disrespecting African leaders/cultures by dressing any how to interview them in a manner they cannot appear before their Presidents, Prime Ministers, kings, queens, MPs, Congress Men and women, Mayors, etc.

JONATHAN'S HOUSE OF SHAME CALLED THE PRESIDENCY

Currently, these are the people who daily disturb government busineses in Aso Rock: Fragrance cohorts; amala hunters; guild of canaries and parrots; contract chasers; LPO chasers, actual contractors; Boko Haram; snoopers, spies; informants; prosperity preachers, praise singers; guild of amebos; rankadede politicians; flesh exhibitors; card-carrying prostitutes looking for 'appointments'; loafers; the so-called socialites; hangers-on; hordes of traditional rulers on meaningless solidarity visits; foreign contractors; professional image launderers from abroad; shift canvassing military/police personnel who want to be on the President's escorts; favour seekers; kile jeku journalists (?); lobbyists; professional courtesy callers;unofficial security ethnicists/militants - THE ALTERNATIVE ARMED FORCES; Ijaw Almajiris; people on fake appointments; guild of brown envelope journalists; professional visiting seducers; visiting prostitutes; resident prostitutes; 'prayer warriors'; betrayers; traitors; spoilers; deal breakers; joy/dream/destiny killers; pathological liars who conginitally are incapable of keeping promises; truce breakers; deliverance pastors; state house prophets; gate keepers; gate crashers; professional idlers; gossipers; estacode chasers; impostors; corridor gossipers; office gossipers; Aso Rock almajiris; Aso Rock executive almajiris; benefits collectors; idle governors who govern their States from the presidency; the so-called strategists; special almajiris; favour-seeking ex-military/police officers; Aso Rock traditional rulers; Ijaw confraternity; ego massagers; professional cold callers (ladies: Oga abi you no know me again?); merchandisers from the Middle East and North; ego travellers; presidential alsatians (the president's aides who start barking and scratching immediately when his critics just ask: "Why now, Mr President?); alleluia boys/girls; old boys association; women praise singers; alfas; traditionalists (ritualists doing cleansing); singles looking for husbands; events arrangers/facilitators/promoters/hunters; banquetters; ration hunters; foreign spies, etc, etc.

ON THE SPIRITUAL PLANE: THE DARK ESTATE OF THE REALM

Principalities and powers; territorial spirits/powers; spiritual wickedness; spirits of greed, corruption, selfishness, arrogance, the leprosy of the mind; cluelessness, witches and wizards, unfeeling, crass insensitivity, strifes/wars, consciencelessness, intolerance, water spirits, naked force, members of the water society, coldness, thievery/roguery, inconsideration, self-centredness, "I-I-I", "me-me-me", forgetfulness, making the leaders to forget their people, occult members, other demonic forces, etc, etc.

Pray, if people seek to islamise the country, couldn't these same people have brought in ritualists from all over the nations in the Middle East and Upper Niger and offered sacrifices to strange deities at the foundation laying stone during the construction of the State House and whilst they held sway?

But in spite of all these, the good news is that GOD HAS ALREADY SMILED ON NIGERIA!

Just look at where the President's gaze, heart, mind and soul are? But does this 'BORN AGAIN sister' have a husband, parents, men and women of God around her including personal mentors? The President must watch it as I some how tend to think fleshly lust is his own thorn in the flesh. But will Omoni Oboli appear in a dinner with Jesus this way? Standardless Jonathan and an equally standardless Seyi Shay who no doubt needs a few lessons in moderation. Would this our 'Born Again sis' sit on the same sofa with Jesus like this?

David and Bathsheba (2 Samuel 11 New International Version (NIV))

11 In the spring, at the time when kings go off to war, David sent Joab out with the king’s men and the whole Israelite army. They destroyed the Ammonites and besieged Rabbah. But David remained in Jerusalem.

2 One evening David got up from his bed and walked around on the roof of the palace. From the roof he saw a woman bathing. Didn’t you know they would shoot arrows from the wall? 21 Who killed Abimelek son of Jerub-Besheth[b]? Didn’t a woman drop an upper millstone on him from the wall, so that he died in Thebez? Why did you get so close to the wall?’ If he asks you this, then say to him, ‘Moreover, your servant Uriah the Hittite is dead.’”

22 The messenger set out, and when he arrived he told David everything Joab had sent him to say. 23 The messenger said to David, “The men overpowered us and came out against us in the open, but we drove them back to the entrance of the city gate. 24 Then the archers shot arrows at your servants from the wall, and some of the king’s men died. Moreover, your servant Uriah the Hittite is dead.”

25 David told the messenger, “Say this to Joab: ‘Don’t let this upset you; the sword devours one as well as another. Press the attack against the city and destroy it.’ Say this to encourage Joab.”

26 When Uriah’s wife heard that her husband was dead, she mourned for him. 27 After the time of mourning was over, David had her brought to his house, and she became his wife and bore him a son. But the thing David had done displeased the Lord.

I now know why Justice Udo Udoma's State has degenerated so much, such that Caesar Akpabio and Mama Oni-igberaga can do whatever they like in the State  and with the public treasury! This thoroughly disgusting sight of public officers fawning and turning themselves into curs for those fragrance cohorts and idiots called First Ladies did not start with this Unomad(ness), a very depraved woman whose body language in the picture above, shows a mere house wife showing her playing the boss, totally full of herself, but it has been with Nigeria ever since Maryam Babangida and taken to abysmal level during the reign of despicable Maryam Abacha, when whilst some of us were on the streets asking for the reinstatement/actualization of June 12, some Yoruba Obas and emirs were kneeling, fawning and sitting on the carpet rankadedeing her and asking for a favour through her from ABACHA THE BUTCHER, her husband.

This your so-called First Ladies, some of whose amoral lifestyles date back to their days as camp-followers during the civil war and strippers in clubs have in their delusions of grandeur seen themselves as the next in rank to or the alter-egos of their husbands. Doesn't Patience Jonathan in her unparalleled delusions of grandeur see herself as the real President of Nigeria and the real PDP Presidential flagbearer campaigning all over the place and abusing Nigeria's former Head of State, General Muhammadu Buhari with no media in Nigeria cautioning her through editorials? All journalists in Nigeria, pastors, judges should hang their heads in shame for becoming so complicit and highly partisan.

Shouldn't this obsequious man's port folio be changed to Commissioner for Woman Wrapper, Massage & Make-up? And wouldn't Unoma need this thoroughly bleached knave to be bathing and massaging her in the privacy of her bathroom inside a bathtub? Does this foolish cur kneel for his wife in his matrimonial home?

Unoma and Caesar Godswill Akpabio should be reminded that in all of Nigeria, when people want the domestic 'slaves' called house helps/boys/girls, they go and buy in Akwa Ibom and to some extent, Cross River State too at a very ridiculous amount of money - a thing that should be a source of grave shame and an embarrassment to Unoma and then to her Caesar husband including Liyel Imoke and his wife Obioma in neighbouring Cross River State.

What should be done? UNOMA VOCATIONAL ACADEMY FOR BOYS AND GIRLS, AKWA IBOM (UVABG), or AKWA IBOM VOCATIONAL INSTITUETE (AIVI) or UNOMA SKILLS ACADEMY (USA) or AKWA IBOM SKILLS AND APPRENTICESHIP ACADEMY (ASAA), won't be a bad idea - and this idea can be replicated in and around the country....Britain left the country with administrative or office-orientated education or ALAKOWE type education, a sort of ABLE-DISABLED EDUCATION (ADE) which till THY KINGDOM COME, Nigeria and indeed, the whole of Africa cannot compete with them!

And any one talking seriously about providing jobs MUST aim at what I call INDUSTRIAL/COMMERCIAL EDUCATION, where the head, the heart and the hands will be trained simultaneously - THE 3-H SYSTEM OF EDUCATION, as I told Chief Olusegun Obasanjo and his senior aides in a lecture I delivered at Aso Rock on October 14, 2001 entitled: WHAT TIME IS IT NIGERIA? during my courtesy call on him in his capacity then as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and thereafter, submitted a blueprint to him entitled: NATIONAL REBIRTH AND THE NIGERIAN DREAM: THE REVOLUTION OF THE COMING GENERATION.

The same blueprint was also, presented to the late President Umaru Musa Ya'Adua - and whoever wins the next election should get in touch for the blueprint, as the place to start first and foremost, is not corruption, but NATIONAL REBIRTH as contained in the blueprint.
