Ogbuefi Muhammadu Buhari....the Owelle of Daura Autonomous Community and APC Presidential Candidate (a.k.a ASIWAJU'S PRIVATE COMPANY)...in the great game of life, you either win or lose...but is MB ready for politics without violence and blood-letting and what level of control does he have over his gullible mob supporters...the very people who didn't matter to him when he was Head of State, doing the bidding of the Oligarchic North? Will someone tell Enoch Adejare Adeboye that Caesar and God are never a good mix? And a voice running across the vista of time is saying to all Political Pastors (PPs): OF A TRUTH, YE CANNOT SERVE GOD AND MAMMON!
Sulaiman Abba, Nigeria's rubber stamped and seat-warming Inspector General of Police...a man totally ignorant and so confused as to the terms of his constitutional duties to the Nigerian State, he's completely without commonsensical policing strategies...is he aware of the arms coming in through all routes - land, water ways, sea/airports? Just how is he planning to deal with imported voters from neighbouring countries, particularly, borders in and around the Upper Niger? If Abba sure understands his job specifications, he ought to have long ago be warning all advocates of self-help justice such as Ayodele Oritsejetfor, the Sultan of Sokoto and Spiritual Monopolist of the Muslims in Nigeria Alhaji Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar, (or does Abba think the Sultan is above the laws of Nigeria?), Sheik Asari Docubo-Gaddafi and many others. As the elections draw near, this boy has to place public service announcements in the media and on bill boards across the country warning all who have concluded plots to truncate the coming elections through violence, burning of opponents' buses, political parties offices in and around the country and through assasinations of political opponents in a manner similar to the ugliness of the 60s; Abba MUST as a matter of urgency beginning from this week be appearing on televisons, radios, newspapers with a public message: NO MORE BUSINESS AS USUAL, VIOLENCE? NOT IN OUR COUNTRY! Also, the nation MUST be conscious of the fierce urgency of NOW.
Tunde Bakare, the VUVUZELA PROPHET...Verily, Verily I say unto you, Bakare: "Thou canst serve two Master's at a time..."
ESTEEMED COMPATRIOTS at home and in the Diaspora,
Throughout the length and breath of Nigeria, the bugle is being blown to summon all Nigerians to answer this national call. This call is to be Nigerian in all things Nigerian without recourse to ethnicity and violence; this call is to be humane in all things and be selfish in nothing. It is a summons to integrity; courage; to excellent service to humanity, this call is to every Nigerian to occupy their minds with serious things; to wipe out injustice and lay the foundation of an egalitarian society of fraternal proximity, to be punctual to work and to be committed to our employers. It is a summons to the employer that the worker deserves his wage; it is also a summons to workers not to turn their places of work into places of merchandize. Yea, it is a summons which places loyalty to fatherland above all else, to creativity and individual initiatives; to every Nigerian to carry their own cross and depend less on the Government; it is a summons for purposeful and visionary leadership and a dedicated, creative and committed followership. This call is an appeal for dialogue and understanding; it is an appeal against endless borrowing by the Government; it is an appeal for the diversification of the economy and a form of privatization that is fair to all concerned.
My fellow Nigerians, election times are here again and are we now like the city on a hill and the eyes of the whole world are upon us wondering if we as a people and representatives of the first known human civilization could pull it through and remain more united, stronger and greater or come crashing down like the tortoise when he failed to accomplish his ambitious space trip.
The task no doubt looks daunting and terribly terrifying, but we must brave it with the courage of our forebears and tear down the walls of electoral malpractices, corruption, all Arabisms, neo-colonialism, over dependence on manufactured goods from far-flung lands, creeping orientalism coupled with the re-emergence of occidentalism, religiosity, etc, and go on to encourage local initiatives and sooner than later, become self-reliant and have a per capita income and standard of living incomparable to none on the surface of the Earth with the best infrastructure and a very functional health system that will discourage our people going to other lands to seek healings for their ailments.
My dear Nigerians, our country at this time is pregnant and has expectedly attracted prophets of doom amongst us who have been echoing what international conspirators have been mouthing, regarding what they think will lead to the break-up of our Nigeria in 2015. It seems to me certain false and negative prophets whose gods are always negative, negative, giving them messages laden with negativity and falsehoods for Nigerians and about Nigeria have as the Heavens broke open to let out the New Year from their wombs gone to the village square with their oracular glasses/beads/vuvuzelas alongside their fellow publicity hunters to prophe-lie about what they regard as the coming Nigeriageddon calling for the postponement of the elections, when in fact, they who always prophe-lie, and whose political associates are bad losers, calling fire and brimstone upon the nation when things don't go their self-centred ways, are indeed, the real problems of Nigeria and not the solutions - all their families have been taken into hiding in Western Europe, and being educated expensively with the money they have fleeced and continue to fleece gullible Nigerians in the name of God, leaving off them, and using upward of seventy-million Naira of such bonanza to set up NGOs to 'save' themselves!
Friends, counry men and women, if for temporary solace we choose to listen to, and follow these vuvuzela prophets whose visions have been darkened by their uncontrollable desire for headlines and the praises of men, they will lead us into life's dark abyss and we shall by this our crass stupidity forfeit our national destiny and place in the world.
If the Inspector General of Police Sulaiman Abba is worthy of that exalted office, he should have a rendezvou with such prophet-liars and with all such "Area Boy-elders and rogue militants instigating anarchy by calling on their disciples to embark on self-help defence in a nation with a constituted authority, law enforcement agencies and a constitutional military. Need I remind these doomed prophets and infantile-elders about the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria's 1970s' jingle: "Careless talk, e dey put man for wahala, keep our secret to ourselves-o, make we country better." There cannot be a more auspicious time to bring back this jingle.
Papa Sakwe, please forward another cow to Tunde Bakare's ever violent and blood-thirsty god. Mama Sakwe, make you give Rev (Fr.) Ejike-greed Mbaka-loud-mouth- Ijekuje this number - 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10. Can some one tell 'Apostle/ST.' Tunde Bakare the VUVUZELA PROPHET that one Matio Olusegun Aremu Okikiola Obasanjo (a.k.a the Village Letter Writer of Ota) ruled Nigeria for 8 years, attempted Third Term, although he did not succeed in his Third Term misadventure, Obasanjo, Nigeria's self-convinced/appointed/annointed MESSIAH who has been diagnosed by renowned Medical Doctors at the famous Olusegun Obasanjo Hospital Ota, Nigeria (OOHON) as having MESSIAH COMPLEX still dey kampe! Please tell the Messiah of Nigeria (MON) that wise elders don't ALWAYS open their mouths and dance naked at the village square, they seek audience with the reigning king in his palace, where they break kolanut and top it up with oguro in Cows' horns, and thereafter, discuss the vexed issues of the land together in the spirit of oneness and brotherhood. Aaaaah! Aremu's Messiah Complex is believed to beusually triggered off by what the Doctors at OOHON refer to simply as ACCUTE MESSIAH SYNDROME (AMS) caused by CONGINITAL MESSIAHNIASIS OF THE MOUTH (CMM), which they say is airbone, so can be very, very infectious/eruptive and deadly!
As more and more false prophets will be seeking public space very, very soon; as more of such careless talks are on the way, with the imminent resurrection of "Atkin" of the Babangida era, when millions of pounds/dollars of our money were given to Western public relations outfits/agencies to embark on scaremongering and announcing Nigeriageddon, I hasten to announce to you, my fellow compatriots, the good news which is that, there shall be no Nigeriageddon in this 2015 A.D. or in the foreseeable future. I therefore, entreat you, fellow Nigerians to go about your normal duties, having faith in yourselves; in Nigeria; believing in her; loving her; cherishing her and treating every Nigerian and nationals of other countries living in our midst with utmost respect, behaving to them as you would want them to behave to you.
What is more, the good people of Nigeria, peace-loving, very friendly and very respectful of one another's faith, belief, creed and values do not need the Yankees who have Black Sites all over the world and who since the 4th July of 1776 till the present have been unable to accept the fact "that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness." Even as I write this piece, I can hear the echo of Eric Garner's cries from the grave screaming out to the very monstrous and the very crassly insensitive New York Department of Police (NYDP) officers as he was being inhumanly and forcefully held to the ground in a chokehold : "I CAN'T BREATHE!" "I CAN'T BREATHE!" Nor do Nigerians need Nostradamus to determine the destiny of our Union. Wherever and whatever be the source of this doomsday prediction concerning our country, they need to like the mythical Sankofa in the Akan folklore look back to whence from they are coming.
Can all the peoples of the world not see Obama's and the West's hypocrisy during the Paris attacks? My hearts do really go out to the families of all the journalists killed, all who lost their lives, had lost their lives in Paris and elsewhere in the world, courtesy of the monsters who are spreading sorrows accross the globe through terror activities. Interestingly, the whole West reponded with lightning speed, uncharacteristics of them when terror attacks took place in other parts of the world, particularly Nigeria/Africa. Mr Obama was at the French Embassy in Washington to sign the condolences register! But how many times has our compassionate Barack Obama been to the Embassy of his original roots, Kenya in Washington, and what is very worse and shameful, how many times has he been to the Nigerian Embassy in Washington to commisserate with all the victims and the bereaved in Nigeria including the Chibok Girls, since Boko Haram began their terror activities in Nigeria, over five years ago?
I dare say Barrack Obama hates Africa his roots and Africans. But what would Moses do (WWMD)? Under the very watch of Barrack Obama, African Americans' lives don't matter. Under Barrack Obama, his brothers and sisters yet CAN'T BREATHE in America. Of a truth, all human beings are equal, but some are more equal than the others! Or what do you think? Just what am I trying to get at (?): ONE GOD, ONE WORLD, ONE HUMANITY, ONE CIVILIZATION.
As the General Elections draw nigh, I consider it my utmost duty to send to you all my dear compatriots, from the Diaspora, where I currently sojourn, my Elections Message to enable you all think on this your constitutional duty to our country. This constitutional duty of yours, all things being equal, especially in a very organised environment, ought to come once in a given political calendar, but this truism as you are already aware, does not yet apply to our nation. Thus, I make bold to say you are no true Nigerian if you refuse to register and cast your ballot in any such General Elections in our country.
Against this backdrop, I plead with you very passionately, all you back home, that as true and bonafide citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, you shall resolve with untainted patriotism and unalloyed loyalty to fatherland, to discharge this obligation/duty of yours loyally and faithfully in accordance with the entrenched provisions of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria by going to the polls to elect genuine and conscientious leaders whom it shall please the Almighty God to permit to reign over us throughout the next political calendar.
Herein again, I beg you in the name of God to vote first, with your heart and your eyes wide open, your conscience kept clean before God of all primodial prejudices, renouncing before Him who had before Lord Frederick Lugard brought the Niger and Benue and their people into being; ethnicity/tribalism, religious bigotry/consideration, bribery and corruption, nepotism and regionalism - and in order to do what is right, resolve before Him, the God of Heaven to no more vote with your heads, but out of conviction and principles, using your voting power to kick out bad politicians.
THE VOTERS COVENANT
In light of the foregoing, I invite you as your brother and compatriot to covenant with first, yourself and conscience, and above all, your Creator that:
1. YOU SHALL not sell your vote for money because when you collect money, foods, salt, etc, from the elections tempters, you have unwittingly entered into a contract with them to enslave and impoverish you for life when they enter office.
2. YOU SHALL report all magomago and jibiti to the police or any security operatives within your immediate reach.
3. In like manner, YOU SHALL report any security operatives trying to compromise the proccesses of democracy by aligning with a particular candidate or party to help them gain undue advantage over other contestants or parties.
4. YOU SHALL report any politician who might want to bribe you for your vote.
YOU SHALL not go and fight and die for any politician, for any reasons whatsoever. Let them and their wives, children, their concubines, some of whom are living overseas, spending the money they have stolen from us recklessly and extravagantly buying a television set worth £100, 000.00 - with regards to their children, most of them in such posh tertiary institutions as City University of London, Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, Imperial College, indulging in obscene and extravagant spending spree of the money their rogue parents have stolen from us, driving cars far, far, far beyond their ages all at the expense of the toiling masses of Nigeria whom their fathers in elective and public offices never bother about, except their businesses in Dubai, the Middle East generally, in the West and East. Therefore, politicians whose agents fight, burn, maim, destroy or kill should be disqualified, as a starting point of discipline and accountability. If a politician is not in control of their agents, how can they be in control of 100s, 1000s, millions and the entire nation? LET POLITICIANS DO THEIR FIGHTING BY THEMSELVES. DON'T LET NIGERIAGEDDON HAPPEN!
5. YOU SHALL not engage in violence or any forms of violent activities.
6. YOU SHALL not double-vote as double-voting is an unfair practice and a serious criminal offence which does not result in a free and fair elections at the end of the day and can land you in jail for many years.
7. YOU SHALL not move from one polling station to another causing trouble or with the sole aim of carrying out multiple voting.
8. YOU SHALL ensure order at the poll generally and follow carefully, any instructions that electoral officers or security operatives may give.
9. YOU SHALL not take the law into your hands when you notice something isn't right at your polling booth/station, but you shall report such to all accredited security operatives/agents who are there to maintain visual deterrence at your polling station. Alternatively, take a vantage and strategic position and use your mobile phone to take the picture of the person/s acting suspiciously and send it to the press/social media, but ensure you do that with utmost tact, so that you do not expose yourself to danger/unwarranted attacks by the suspects.
10. YOU SHALL not loiter near or around your polling centre after you have voted, but return to your house/business and wait patiently for the announcement of the result/s by the constituted authorities.
11. YOU SHALL not go on rampage vandalising, burning, maiming, destroying or killing if the result/s do/es not come as expected. If you think the outcome of the result was due to irregularities you witnessed at the poll, then forward your complaints backed by verifiable proofs to the electoral agency/INEC. But please, please, please remember, if you or your candidate do/es not win this time round, it is because there are yet more elections in another political calendar of the nation.
12. YOU SHALL tell any blood-thirsty politicians and other persons who might approach you to assasinate their political opponents: (D.I.Y) DO IT YOURSELF! But never fail to report such people to the police.
13. YOU SHALL celebrate with moderation if the outcome of the elections/s are as you had expected, but remember: NOTHING IN EXCESS!
Whilst celebrating, do it humbly such that you do not provoke to anger, people to whom the elections results did not come as they had expected.
14. YOU SHALL treat with utmost repect, all your compatriots including security officers, whilst the election exercises last and thereafter, always treat all people as you would have them treat you.
Fellow Nigerians, whilst I call on you from the land of my sojourning, even the United Kingdom, let us join hands together and work hand in hand in the rebuilding of our Nigeria, so we can all make Nigeria better by making her work again, and believing as I had told the nation even as a corp member columnist at The Observer between 1989/1990 and till date that NIGERIA IS A WORK IN PROGRESS, and we ourselves to whom it has pleased the great God Almighty to entrust the destiny of this our GREAT NATION, which indisputably is the potentially GREATEST NATION on the Planet Earth and in the history of all civilizations, are equally A PEOPLE AT WORK, perfecting our various skills, first individually, and then collectively as A GREAT TEAM, whilst singing the SONG OF NIGERIA as below:
NIGERIA WILL RULE THE WORLD
Nigeria, great country, destined to rule the world
There’s no nation in the world as great as our Nigeria
With God, this Nigeria, God’s own beloved nation will rule the world

God of Nigeria, give to all those to whom you have entrusted
The task of governing Nigeria to govern well in a manner that will glorify you
Give them the grace not to think highly of themselves,
But to in their entrusted little corners think of themselves as servant- leaders;
O God of Nigeria, give our leaders the grace to be selfless and patriotic;
Give them wisdom and hearts large enough to love and serve all;
Keep them away from greed and corruption,
So that instead of asking, “What’s in it for me?”
They will ask, “What’s in it for all of us?”
Give them the grace to in judgement be impartial, remembering the poor in our midst;
Showing no respect to persons, but acknowledging you always as the God of Nigeria who has placed them in authority over us;
Give them the wisdom to be broad and whole in thinking
And let them embrace strategic thinking and shift away from oil and genuinely diversify the economy
O God of Nigeria, implant in the heart, mind, spirit,
Soul and body of every Nigerian love for each other,
Respect for each other in an atmosphere of peace
Surpassing all understanding and having respect for one another’s faith
Without recourse to religious bigotry in dealing with one another
On daily basis in word and in deed;
Let this spirit of love permeate every fabric of our society
So that whether in the North, South, East or West of our country
We shall in peace and harmony live together
In a country where there’s no North, no South, but one Nigeria;
In a country where there is no division as to ethnic nationality, but one Nigeria;
In a country where there’s no division as to *indigineship, settlership, but citizenship only;
Where all Nigerians are citizens of one great and indissoluble country,
Having one mission, vision, one dream, one purpose, one destiny with one commonality
As one people, set to take over the world in all things-politics, science, innovations, technology, sports, agriculture, cultures, standard of living, social welfare and per capita income, etc.
Help us to build a nation where no one will be persecuted, killed for embracing or belonging to a Faith;
Give us the spirit as a people to strive for excellence, competitive performance instead of the usual recourse to *hereditary privilege;
Help us to do God and not religion, church or mosque,
O God of Nigeria, give us the wisdom, courage to bring up
Our children in the fear and nurture of you;
Give them and the coming generations the grace not to give up on Nigeria;
But that they should act their own part in the rebuilding of Nigeria,
Never to be bitter, but be sufficiently angry
to challenge the status quo, committed, loyal and patriotic
And when they shall ask us in this national Odyssey,
“Are we nearly there?”
Let us then respond with love and inspiring words that
“We are not nearly there yet, but on our way
And we shall arrive very soon on eagle’s wings.”
Yes, we shall soon arrive on eagle’s wings
And some day our Nigeria will rule the world

Esteemed compatriots, whilst by the divine and infinite mercies of the Great God of Heaven and the Earth, you labour daily to achieve the political kingdom of Nigeria, in the name of God, don't give up on Nigeria. This our Nigeria, it's such a great beauty, a great beauty, stunningly beautiful with an incomparable beauty that never fades and never grows old. Therefore, never, never, never give up on our Nigeria - never, never, never, never, never, never, NEVER ever give up on her.
Until I return, think on my poem below which is the slogan of the MOVEMENT FOR AFRICAN RENAISSANCE AND GLOBAL PEACE, UNITED KINGDOM titled: THE NIGERIAN SPIRIT.
The Nigerian spirit is the spirit that stirs up the best in Nigerians.
It constitutes great visions and great dreams; dreaming big dreams and seeing to their realization; a giant will and a spirit of invincible determination; marvellous possibilities, resilience and boundless elasticity; tenacity of purpose; selflessness and loyalty to fatherland; the highest level of patriotism; giving God a prime place in the Nigerian mind and in national life; a strong abhorrence for religious bigotry and irreligiousness of religion; an enterprising and inquiry mind; an excellent spirit; dedication and devotion to duty; a spirit so strong that it cannot be discouraged; the truth, without which the citizen is not free; fearlessness; confidence in self; the fatherland, humanity and posterity, yet very humble; a sense of nationalism rather than ethnicity; absence of avarice and thievery; honesty and integrity; a sense of community rather than individualism - being one's brother's keeper, creating a sense of sanity in one's little corner in the midst of endemic or pervasive corruption; walking tall without entertaining grasshopper complex; the spirit to say to oneself after the accomplishment of a great task that the best is yet to come; the ability to recreate one's world, where one is thoroughly dissatisfied; utmost enthusiasm rather than grumbling; time consciousness rather than getting hooked to the so-called African time; a high sense of moderation instead of unbridled ostentation and acquisitive tendency; a great sense for details and observation; a sense of service rather than pecuniary consideration; observance of the country's laws and order in order to keep the peace. The Nigerian spirit is to be cultivated and practised.
And those beating war drums and prophe-lying and advocating self-help justice, thinking coup as a last resort to re-capture power at all cost and mouthing the break up of Nigeria, let them take a trip to Lokoja, take a look at the eternal union between the rivers Niger and Benue and they will discover to their chargrin that before 1914, Nigeria was. Therefore, the Nigerian Union is first a Union of the soul - a spiritual Union and then an ubreakable cultural UNION strengthened by a political Union. Thus, it is a mystical Union.
Let us therefore, promote our NIGERIANESS and our indigenous faith - NIGERIANISM far and above our individual ethnic-nesses such as Yalaness, Hausaness, Igboness, Yorubaness, etc.
On August 29, 1990, whilst doing my national service at the then Bendel Newspaper Corporation, publishers of The Observer, I deilivered my famous Bendel Exposition, a Public Lecture entitled: OUR FUTURE IS NOT BLEAK, BUT VERY BRIGHT (A Message of Hope) in which the very much revered King of Benin Omo n’Oba n’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo Erediauwa personally sent a reprensentative in the person of the late Prince Eweka and Bianca Ugwu who too as the then MAMSER Director was a very strong supporter of my national rebirth vision for Nigeria and gave me all the encouragement and personally sent the MAMSER Public Relations Officer to the famous Urhokpota Hall, Venue of the Bendel State Oration; in attendance too, was the then Chairman of Oredo Local Government Council George Idah and the then Bendel State Commissioner for Education Dr Godswill Ogbogodo who delivered the lecture alongside me entitled: NYSC AND NATION BUILDING - the title of his lecture and the overall idea of the Public Lecture were my personal ideas sold to the then NYSC, Bendel State.
Twenty-five years later, do I still hold such incontrovertible faith in Nigeria? Oh! I do now, even more, for I have deliberately chosen not to look at the nation's ever raging storms which have kept on and on, on its socio-political landscape. I don't look at the all-round darkness enveloping her at the moment, but I do look at the bright light beyond its thick and dreadful cloud; I don't listen to the prophets of doom and swallow their vuvuzela prophecies; nor am I terrified by the violence and blood bath on the way, because by Christ Jesus, I have trained up myself to look at the ever shinning light whose effulgent glory radiates beyond all of the cloud and darkness on the way. My confidence in Nigeria is such that a trillion raging tsunamis will retreat on sighting me! Above all, I look up to God for the glory of Nigeria, because always, O' always, again I say always, I'm upward bound. As for the vuvuzela prophets, I can only look at them disdainfully, take a very long hiss, have eternal pity for and say to them: ICHABOD, for the gory has departed from them!
Therefore, I'd like to warn you, my country men and women that if we look at the thick darkness, we shall miss our way, but if we train up ourselves to look at the very bright light beyond this thick darkness, we shall not only find the way to the glorious Promised Land, but realize our national destiny.
In this wise, can I now invite you to stand up with me for Nigeria - ALL STAND! STAND! STAND UP FOR THE GLORY OF NIGERIA! Stand up and be counted as a believer in and lover of Nigeria. May nations and the children of the coming generations never remember this generation of Nigerians as a people who warred-warred and lost a great nation, but as a great people who even though jawed-jawed amongst themselves built a great nation and a great civilization.
