KIND ATTENTION: Dr. Dalhatu Sarki Tafida, OFR, CFR
Your Excellency,
When are you going to issue a statement condemning the terror attack of 22 May, 2013 in Woolwich in which a 25-year-old British soldier Drummer Lee Rigby was killed?
Worryingly, the two of them, Messrs Michael Adebolajo, 28 and Michael Adebowale, 22 are both of Nigerian roots.
A visit yesterday 23rd May and this morning 24th May to the High Commission’s official website and that of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nigeria appear to show total indifference as no statements whatsoever have been issued by Abuja and your Commission here in London.
Times like these ought to see one sovereign nation expressing solidarity with another on equal platform, more so, when Nigeria today is faced with deadlier threats as the international terrorists have swarmed the country because of the current governmental effeminacy and the leadership’s unparalleled ineptitude.
Another opportunity to canvass TRANSATLANTIC ALLIANCE AGAINST TERROR TAaT being missed?
Your Excellency, you will agree with me this is not only highly shameful, unresponsive and embarrassing, but crassly insensitive!
I thank you for your time.
Respectfully,
Compatriot JOHN ODEY ADUMA.
