Jamie Smith has joined the Office of the Director of National Intelligence as its director of public affairs.
“We welcome Jamie Smith to the ODNI,” said Director of National Intelligence James Clapper. “We look forward to putting her background in public affairs, intelligence and international relations to work.”

Smith joined Rockefeller’s staff after serving as the traveling press director for the Hillary Clinton for President Campaign. She also previously served as communications director for former Secretary of State Madeleine K. Albright and The Albright Group, and as legislative aide to Congresswoman Nita M. Smith began her new job Oct. 12.
