Amberstone Technology, a Cardinal Group Company, has been awarded accreditation from safecontractor for its commitment to achieving excellence in health and safety.
Safecontractor is a leading third-party accreditation scheme which assesses the health and safety standards of UK contractors. Under the scheme, businesses undergo a vetting process which investigates health and safety procedures and historical records to monitor areas for improvement and examples of existing best practices.
Andrew Gillies, Managing Director of Amberstone Technology Limited, said: “We place great value on providing a service where staff are highly trained and accredited, especially in health and safety which affects the well being of our team and those they work with. Communicating this to our clients is a priority so being able to demonstrate our commitment by working with safecontractor, will enable us to demonstrate this in a clear and precise way.”
As a result of the accreditation, Amberstone Technology will now be listed on the safecontractor website with more than 120 major nationwide businesses from a wide range of professional disciplines and industry sectors.
John Kinge, technical director of safecontractor said, “Major companies simply cannot afford to run the risk of employing contractors who are not able to prove that they have sound health and safety policies in place. Businesses need to understand the importance of adopting good risk management in the same way Amberstone has done. The firm’s high standard has set an example which hopefully will be followed by other companies within the sector.”
