Burg-Wächter, Germany’s security specialist, is launching Locktoberfest to highlight the key season for security with consumers preparing for winter as the nights begin to draw in. Combining the traditional German festival with all things security, Locktoberfest provides a fun vehicle to get the important security message across.
New Locktoberfest promotions and competitions
With home security a national concern and to celebrate this opportunity for locksmiths, Burg-Wächter is running a series of promotions and competitions, commencing in October, where locksmiths can not only get excellent deals on a range of product – including cylinder locks, night latches, tubular latches, mortice locks, door chains and uPVC window handles – but also win great prizes such high-quality Burg-Wächter locks as well as authentic German beer.
In addition, Locktoberfest will be supported by a consumer campaign in key home-orientated titles, regional press and on social media.
Mark Pearson, commercial director at Burg-Wächter said, ‘As winter approaches, the cover of darkness gives criminals a significant advantage throughout this period. Burg-Wächter’s first Locktoberfest is an engaging way to not only highlight serious security issues but to also give locksmiths the opportunity to offer customers peace of mind that their homes are protected against break-ins this winter.’
