London, UK: Imperva Inc. has announced that it has formed a strategic alliance with the German arm of accounting and consulting firm, PwC, to deliver a new cloud security offering. Imperva supports the PwC offering with Imperva Incapsula and Imperva Skyfence to protect customers who are using cloud-based applications such as Microsoft Office365, DropBox or Salesforce, from cyber security threats and attacks.
Apps in the cloud have led to a need for appropriate safety measures to protect sensitive data from potential hacker attacks. With the all4cloud offering, PwC is responding to companies’ demand for support for the planning and implementation of cloud projects.
“It became evident that the Incapsula and Skyfence products can deliver control of external cloud applications and access control of mobile devices for our all4cloud solution,” said Markus Vehlow, who is responsible for the Cloud Computing Partner Program at PwC Germany.
Imperva Incapsula provides protection for web-applications via a web-application firewall and also offers defense against DDOS attacks in particular. Imperva Skyfence makes it possible to audit access to data in the cloud and provides a comprehensive risk assessment of cloud-applications.
"We are honored to work with PwC, a world-renowned consulting firm,” said Michael Mooney, Chief Revenue Officer of Imperva. “The all4cloud offering is suitable for the use of private and public cloud applications, which aligns perfectly with our targeted customer markets. With the combination of all4cloud and Imperva products, customers will have greater peace of mind when using cloud computing applications.”
