Tony Blair, former British Prime Minister for 10 years (+) once described the continent of Africa as “a scar on the conscience of the world” and he appears to have gotten away with that unguarded and ill-conceived statement because since the death of Kwame Nkrumah, Africa has had the misfortune of having dolomites who apart from lining up their pockets with money, care less about the place of Africa in the modern world as its leaders, hence whatever is said about that continent by anyone and by, especially the western media often goes unchallenged.

***Diplomacy and not indiscretion and unwarranted arrogance is the balm for foreign relations. We make bold to say that in the fight against terrorism and in trying to achieve global peace, harmony and international brotherhood with universal altruism as a fulcrum, world leaders should employ diplomacy and the art of persuasion, rather than appearing magisterial, imperious and authoritarian. Since David Cameron came to limelight as the leader of the Conservative Party culminating in his becoming the British Prime Minister under the current wobbling coalition Government, it appears his PR background has continued to trail him like a shadow.

It’s exactly five years today that London was thrown into a pandemonium of an unprecedented magnitude with many a home, family, Londoner and visitor left in perpetual anguish and sorrow. As we look back today with tears on our eyes and heavy sorrow in our hearts, we are immediately plunged into a state of trepidation and horrified by the frightful images that were the results of that satanic incidents- the many deaths that littered the underground, charred remains of bodies, blood everywhere on the ground, streets, tracks, blood gushing out of fellow Londoners and visitors alike, fractured bodies, maimed and destroyed beyond recognition.
