Sonardyne International Ltd. and Bluefin Robotics, developers of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs), have announced at Oceanology International in London, a collaboration to integrate Sonardyne’s Solstice Side Scan Sonar with a Bluefin 12 AUV. A modular vehicle that allows for swappable payloads, Bluefin 12 is most commonly used for offshore survey, search and salvage, environmental monitoring and unexploded ordnance survey operations.
In a new blog post from Allan Carey, VP at PhishMe, the after effects of the recent Target breach are discussed. Carey notes that Target’s recent sales numbers show that people aren’t only nervous about using credit cards at Target, they are avoiding the retailer altogether. Only 33 percent of US households shopped at Target in January of 2014, a 22 percent decline from 2013, and Target’s lowest level of shopper penetration in the last three years.
