BSI, the business standards company has published BS 65000 Guidance for Organizational Resilience. This landmark standard provides an overview of resilience, describing the foundations required and explaining how to build resilience. It therefore deals with an organization’s capacity to anticipate, respond and adapt – which could be crucial to its survival.

Pipeline security to be discussed at high-level Forum in Turkey

A network of over 3,500,000 km of pipelines currently transports hydrocarbons all around the world, and according to P&G, there are construction plans for over 180,000 km of pipelines in the coming years.

250 gain gate safety training diploma

Now 250 have successfully passed DHF's gate safety training course

Two hundred and fifty powered gate installers and specialists have now successfully completed the Door & Hardware Federation powered gate safety diploma training course. With more courses planned, the number of successful trainees is set to rise to 500 by the end of 2015.

War imminent in Libya, UN warns

The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) has condemned a series of airstrikes on targets in the city of Misrata amid an upsurge in fighting across the war-torn North African country. The UNSMIL warned that any further escalation of hostilities could plunge the nation back into “all-out war.”
