Poing: The international Schlemmer Group, with its head office in Poing near Munich, Germany, is beginning the year very optimistically, despite the selective market slowdown in some regions. Since 2014, the Schlemmer management has reacted specifically to the conditions in the Russian, Brazilian and Chinese markets with individual adaptations and enhancements.

The Ministry of Defence has announce that Bernard Gray has agreed to continue as the Chief of Defence Materiel until the end of 2015. Mr Gray has completed his four year appointment as head of the MoD's acquisition and support organisation, and the Secretary of State has asked him to continue so that he can take forward the current phase of reform, assist in the Strategic Defence and Security Review that will follow the General Election, and enable a smooth transition to an incoming Chief Executive of DE&S.
