Checkpoint Systems, Inc. has announced two solutions for food retailers that are specifically designed to reduce shrink and boost merchandise availability for hard-to-protect items.
A service to mark 13 years of UK military operations in Afghanistan took place at St Paul’s Cathedral today (Friday, 13 March).
The service honoured the 453 Servicemen and women who lost their lives during the campaign and recognised the contribution of the Armed Forces, charities, aid organisations and all those in the UK who worked to make Afghanistan a safer and more stable country.
Reacting to reports that US Industrial Control Systems were attacked by hackers 245 times in 12 months, Rob Miller, security consultant at MWR InfoSecurity, said: "Many organisations we work with are taking these reports very seriously. The report shows that the rate of new vulnerabilities being discovered in ICS equipment has remained steady for the last four years. ICS operators cannot therefore rely on vendors taking care of their security for them.
