LONDON, UK: OPSWAT has announced the release of their quarterly market share report, which shows the top 12 anti-malware vendors by market share as well as various other user behavior statistics collected from their device security and compliance tool, OPSWAT Gears.
Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has disclosed that malware designed to help cyber thieves steal credit and debit card data was found on point-of-sale systems at some of its hotels. This announcement makes Starwood the latest in a recent string of hotel chains to acknowledge credit card breach investigations, and comes only days after the company announced its acquisition by Marriott International. Starwood published a list of more than 50 of its hotel properties that were impacted by the breach.
