Two Cheshire based unlicensed security operatives pleaded guilty at Crewe Magistrates' Court

An unlicensed door supervisor, and the boss who deployed him with a fraudulent licence, have been convicted of offences under the Private Security Industry Act (PSIA) 2001 and the Fraud Act 2006.

On Tuesday 26 March, Michael Flood of Pulford Road, Winsford, pleaded guilty at Crewe Magistrates' Court to fraudulently amending his Security Industry Authority (SIA) licence. Vance Garner of Stone Manor Lane, Hartford North, also pleaded guilty to supplying two unlicensed door supervisors (including Flood) to The Vaults pub in Middlewich, Cheshire.

Armour Comms launches Armour Mobile v3.0

London, 26 March 2019: Armour Communications is launching the latest version of its flagship product Armour Mobile at Cyber UK 2019 – the premier annual cyber security event run by the UK’s NCSC (National Cyber Security Centre). In addition, Armour will be demonstrating full integration with Secure Chorus standards, to a live audience, with Leonardo, BAE Applied Intelligence and dstl (Defence Science and Technology Laboratory). The interactive workshop, hosted by NCSC and Secure Chorus takes place on 24 April at 14.00 and is part of Stream G.
