A Royal Navy recruit had the surprise of his life when his mum turned up for his passing-out parade, after a fellow trainee paid for her flight from the Caribbean.

Recruit Quaci Crosby was among the latest group of trainee sailors celebrating the end of their 10-week basic training at HMS Raleigh in Cornwall on Friday.

He had no idea his mum, Althea, would be among the group of families and friends invited to the parade. Unknown to him, his classmate Recruit Cameron Hawes, had secretly paid for and organised his mum’s flight so she could be there for her son’s big day.

It must to the eternal shame of that Iragbiji thug, robber Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Iya Alata wife, Remi Tinubu, his political egrets such as Babatunde Fashola, Akinwunmi Ambode, Femi Kusa together with the other ethnicists in Nigeria that they have conspired before the very eyes of the Chief Policing Officer of the Federation, Adamu Abubakar Muhammed and all the other security chiefs, the Presidency, the Legislature and the Judiciary to expunge and abolish citizenship from the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and replace it with the word “immigrants”, such that it is now a misnomer and an aberration to call Nigerians resident in States outside of their State of origin, citizens, and it does not even matter to these ethnic irredentists whether such a person or persons was/were born and bred in say a State like Lagos whose ‘ownership’ is now seriously under contention.

New ePassports featuring the latest in technical advancement and verification in ID documents have received international recognition and acclaim.

The High Security Printing Latin America conference, organised by Reconnaissance International, has hosted the 2019 winners of the Regional ID Documents of the Year awards at a ceremony in San José, Costa Rica earlier this month.

This saw the best new ePassport and best ePassport upgrade recognised for outstanding achievement and technical sophistication of a document. It also recognised the best in system infrastructure and implementation of a government passport or national identity card scheme.
