Konica Minolta has announced that manufacturer independent SySS GmbH has tested and certified the security of the MOBOTIX 7 intelligent video platform and MOBOTIX Mx6 security cameras. As a result, the leading institute for penetration tests in Germany has confirmed the best possible cybersecurity of Konica Minolta’s MOBOTIX products series.
The Security Industry Authority (SIA) has extended the introduction of the updated Close Protection qualification to 01 April 2022.
The new implementation date will allow for full testing of the new skills before they are introduced. The SIA will run a pilot in early 2022 with selected training centres. This will enable those delivering the qualification to provide feedback on the new bespoke physical intervention unit and make any required adjustments to the course before it goes live in April 2022.
The changes to be introduced by the SIA have been informed by the views of expert stakeholders and reflect extensive research and discussion with the industry, including a public consultation.
Half of IT leaders say that future remote or hybrid work will make it harder to prevent phishing incidents
London, UK: Egress’ 2021 Insider Data Breach Survey has revealed that almost three-quarters (73%) of organisations have suffered data breaches caused by phishing attacks in the last year. Remote work has increased the risk, with over half (53%) of IT leaders reporting an increase in incidents caused by phishing. The research also revealed concerns over future hybrid working, with 50% of IT leaders saying it will make it harder to prevent breaches caused by malicious email attacks.
