IOPC REPORT ON CHARING CROSS POLICE STATION SPARKS GROANS OF DESPAIR ACROSS LONDON AND WITHIN THE FORCES

As the news of the IOPC report into Charing Cross Police Station began to circulate, it was not difficult to imagine the collective dropping of heads and the groans of despair echoing, not just across London but throughout each force as officers quickly realised the implications for themselves and their colleagues.

I can only imagine the thoughts of officers about to report for duty as they discovered that the IOPC, had rendered them even more vulnerable to abuse and attack. Their findings were doubtless to the delight of those many sections of the media who have long conducted a vendetta against the Met in particular and UK policing in general.

Each business unit will be led by a general manager who reports to ConnectWise CEO Jason Magee, each with its own dedicated product management and other resources. These leaders will be accountable for engineering effectiveness for their respective product lines. They will be responsible for innovative roadmaps and on-time delivery, as well as driving a positive experience for partners across sales, product support, services, partner success and the broader ConnectWise system.

Working from home increases ‘digital anxiety’

Two-thirds of remote workers reported worrying about their online security and privacy, even if nothing is wrong.

Helsinki, Finland: Working from home has spiked since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic in March of 2020. This effort to reduce health risks may have limited the spread of the virus, but according to a new analysis by cyber security provider F-Secure, it may also have helped increase digital anxiety for those working remotely.
