Identity security seen as key component, but organizations struggle to find the right solution
 
COPENHAGEN, Denmark: Omada A/S (“Omada”) has announced the release of its annual State of Identity Governance Report for 2025. The report examines IT and business leaders’ perspectives on identity-related threats and the solutions they are adopting to address these challenges.

  • Cyber threat to UK government is severe and advancing quickly.
  • 58 critical government IT systems independently assessed in 2024 had significant gaps in cyber resilience, and the government does not know how vulnerable at least 228 ‘legacy’ IT systems are to cyber attack.
  • Skills gaps are the biggest risk to building cyber resilience, with one in three cyber security roles in government vacant or filled by temporary staff in 2023-24.

Infosecurity Europe report finds board-level buy-in critical to building a safer cyber world
 
 
Infosecurity Europe: Infosecurity Europe, celebrates its 30th edition this year and takes place from 3-5 June 2025 at ExCeL London. In preparation for the event, it has announced findings from its 2025 Cybersecurity Trends Report. The research highlights that cybersecurity budgets are on the rise, with UK organisations predicting an average growth of 31% in 2025 - more than double the 15% global forecast from Gartner.
