Newly-elected BSIA Chairman outlines his vision for Association’s future

Demonstrating the tangible benefits of trade association membership is key to the British Security Industry Association’s future growth and success, says Geoff Zeidler, the Association’s newly-appointed Chairman.

In his inaugural address to BSIA members at the Association’s Annual Luncheon, Geoff stressed the importance of “absolute clarity” in setting the long-term direction of the Association against a challenging backdrop of a changing regulatory and market environment.

RAF’s newest transport aircraft...the name is Atlas!

The RAF’s next generation military transport aircraft was last week officially named as Atlas.

A source at the MoD said the aircraft, which had until now been known as the A400M, would replace the RAF’s existing C130 Hercules fleet and along with the Voyager and C-17 would provide the UK military’s future air transport force.

The UK is buying 22 of the cutting edge aircraft from Airbus Military and the first Atlas is expected to be delivered to the RAF in 2014.

New co-ordination unit matches VIPs with reputable Close Protection suppliers
