New Integration Cryptographically Binds Access and Code Signing Keys to Valid Corporate Identities and Authorized Devices to Dramatically Reduce Critical Vulnerabilities

NEW YORK and SAN FRANCISCO: Beyond Identity has announced a new partnership and integration that enables customers to prevent intentional vulnerabilities from being introduced into DevOps environments and to dramatically reduce the risk of supply chain attacks. The integration between Beyond Identity and GitLab enables companies to ensure that only authorized users working from company-approved and secure computers can access code repositories or sign source code during commit activities. Beyond Identity extends the continued security enhancements and API hooks the GitLab team has released to also add in the unique capability of associating an SSH or GPG key with a known corporate identity. These capabilities are available today.

New research shows Log4Shell detections tripled, PowerShell scripts heavily influenced a surge in endpoint attacks, the Emotet botnet came back in a big way and malicious cryptomining activity increased

Ransomware detections in the first quarter of this year doubled the total volume reported for 2021, according to the latest quarterly Internet Security Report from the WatchGuard Threat Lab. Researchers also found that the Emotet botnet came back in a big way, the infamous Log4Shell vulnerability tripled its attack efforts and malicious cryptomining activity increased.

    The new tools include surveillance-free email, an all-in-one collaborative office suite to rival Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, and an instant messaging platform which provides an open-source alternative to Slack, Telegram or WhatsApp.
