In reality, cyber war is closer to a cyber-insurgency where the weapons, targets and collateral damage are different from an all-out physical engagement. Barendrecht: Following its annual partner event in Rotterdam VeliQ has announced it will use Amazon Web Services for the hosting of its “MobiDM” cloud-based mobility Platform as a Service (mPaaS™) solution for smartphone, tablet, app and content management and security. Based on the agreement between VeliQ and Amazon, partners of VeliQ can deliver MobiDM in the North American market via Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Hamburg: The German IT security specialist gateprotect is drawing a positive balance of the CeBIT. More than 2500 Euro was raised for underprivileged youth.
More than 500 persons participated in a very special CeBIT activity during the five days of the trade show. The Hamburg-based IT security provider gateprotect donated five Euro for a charitable purpose for each visitor who kept up two minutes on the race bike simulator. At the end, 2570 Euro were collected for the construction of a bicycle repair shop for underprivileged young people in Frankfurt, Mainfeld.
