New Global Survey from Odaseva Also Finds that Only 50% of Organizations Impacted by an Attack on SaaS Data Were Able to Fully Recover

SAN FRANCISCO: Odaseva, the leading enterprise data protection platform for Salesforce, today released the findings of a global survey that shows that organizations are largely unprepared for ransomware attacks on their data stored in SaaS platforms. Attacks on SaaS data are an increasingly common cybersecurity target, and they succeed in encrypting SaaS data half the time, leaving only half of the victims able to fully recover. Differentiating from other ransomware studies, the survey queried senior data professionals at large enterprises of 10,000 employees or more.

One of the world’s leading experts in drone technology, Robert Garbett, today called on the UK Government to support the World Health Organisation’s (WHO) plea for Britain to “rise up and act to protect the health of our most vulnerable people” (Dr. Maria Neira, Director at WHO) by confronting the global threat of air pollution, which “is killing 7 million people per year and shaving over two years off the average life expectancy.”[1]

Robert Garbett, Founder of Drone Major Group Limited[2] stated: “Lives can be saved, disease in the youngest reduced, the oldest and most vulnerable members of society protected, as well as saving the NHS millions by replacing many of our delivery vans, trucks and heavy goods vehicles with battery-powered drones.”

Princess Royal chatting with sailors 

THE Princess Royal visited Portsmouth Naval Base today to offer her personal thanks to sailors involved in Her Majesty the Queen’s funeral.

Her Royal Highness Princess Anne spoke to the men and women about their role hauling the State Ceremonial Gun Carriage bearing the Queen’s coffin and lining the streets of London and Windsor.

More than a thousand sailors and Royal Marines were on duty at the funeral on Monday, alongside RAF and British Army personnel.

Leading Engineering Technician (LET) Benjamin Tetley was one of 142 sailors responsible for pulling the gun carriage.
