Demands for UK security on the rise in Asia as British innovations explode

Technological innovation within the UK’s security sector is driving demand for British-made technology among Asian buyers, according to members of the British Security Industry Association’s Export Council, many of whom are currently preparing to exhibit at IFSEC Southeast Asia in September.

Royal Navy rakes in £21 million during drug bust in the Caribbean

A Royal Navy warship has seized nearly 600 kilos of cocaine with a UK street value of £21million after a 12-hour pursuit across the Caribbean, Vigilance can report.

After receiving information that a suspicious-looking vessel had been spotted by a Maritime Patrol Aircraft, HMS Argyll, which is on counter-narcotic operations in the region, deployed to intercept it.

IRVINE, Calif.: Western Digital Corp. has appointed Olivier Leonetti as its new chief financial officer to replace Tim Leyden, 62, who is retiring after 24 years of distinguished service to the company.

Vigilance learnt Mr Leyden's successor Mr Olivier Leonetti, 50, had served as vice president, finance at Amgen Inc. from 2011, after spending 14 years in global finance leadership positions at Dell Inc.
