LONDON, UK : Armis has announced the appointment of B2B SaaS veteran Conor Coughlan as their new Chief Advocacy Officer (CAO) and General Manager for EMEA. Coughlan will report directly to Yevgeny Dibrov, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Armis. Coughlan will be responsible globally for the establishment and operation of their new advocacy programs and strategically accelerating their expansion across the EMEA region. Bitglass has announced new research that shows how the Dark Web, the value of stolen data and cybercriminal behaviours have dramatically evolved in recent years. In 2015, Bitglass conducted the world’s first data tracking experiment to better understand how data is viewed and accessed on the Dark Web. Today, with the world becoming more digital and the increasing number of data breaches, the Bitglass Threat Research Group recreated this experiment and compared this year’s findings to those of six years ago and found the following:

West Yorkshire’s high profile Violence Reduction Unit, which is part of the Mayoral Combined Authority and leads a number of partner organisations across the county to tackle violent crime, today announces the launch of a pioneering licensing initiative to improve the safety and security of bars, pubs, clubs, restaurants and hotels.
A total of 300 specially selected licensed premises across Bradford, Calderdale, Wakefield and Kirklees Metropolitan District Council areas are being invited to take part in the scheme, which encourages venues to improve their operational security and management practices year on year.
