As our appreciation to mothers all over the world and a celebration of motherhood on this occasion of Mother’s Day, we here publish the poem, MY MOTHER by Ann Taylor (1782-1866) for the reading pleasure of our numerous readers worldwide. Read, reflect and appreciate, for mother is great!
Who sat and watched my infant head
When sleeping on my cradle bed,
And tears of sweet affection shed?
My Mother.
When pain and sickness made me cry,
Who gazed upon my heavy eye,
And wept for fear that I should die?
My Mother.
Who taught my infant lips to pray
And love God’s holy book and day,
And walk in wisdom’s pleasant way?
My Mother.
And can I ever cease to be
Affectionate and kind to thee,
Who wast so very kind to me,
My Mother?
Ah, no! the thought I cannot bear,
And if God please my life to spare
I hope I shall reward thy care,

Due to overwhelming demand, ISACA, a nonprofit association of more than 95,000 IT professionals worldwide, has extended the grandfathering program for its new Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) designation until 30 June 2011. The grandfathering program permits those with appropriate experience to become certified without taking an exam. Since the grandfathering program opened in April 2010, more than 9,000 IT and business professionals have applied for the certification.

A Food and Drug Administration (FDA) chemist and his son were charged yesterday with Insider Trading. The chemist was granted access to confidential data regarding drug approval reviews. The chemist, it turns out, had access to a database. The chemist then abused these privileges to purchase advance stock of those companies granted approval. According to the report, the chemist was able to profit $3.6 million.
