Amberstone Security to become UK’s largest privately owned security company

The business unveils its plan to grow to £300M annual turnover by 2025…

Security solutions services company Amberstone Security has released ambitious plans to become the UK’s largest privately owned security provider by 2025.

The business was born out of Cardinal Security, which fell into administration just two years after an MBO. Cardinal’s Founder, Jason Trigg, who had exited the business on completion of the MBO returned to save the remnants of Cardinal in 2018, ultimately creating the new company Amberstone Security.

Amberstone Security offered a new risk-based model for deploying security and guarding solutions, using proprietary Ai based systems. The objective was to make sure the right people were in the right place at the right time and with the right equipment.

Reflections on the War in Ukraine

Still reeling from the harrowing onslaught and impact of COVID-19, the world woke up to the news of a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. This led to an international outcry and worldwide condemnation, followed by the imposition of all sorts of sanctions on Russia by mostly Western countries. Some of Russia’s friends were ambivalent about the Ukraine war and counselled restraint and respect for other nations’ sovereignty. Notable among those are China and India. Russia’s relations with Western countries are now at their lowest ebb since the first half of the 1980s. But how on earth did it all come to this? To try and understand the situation more clearly, we have to begin by looking at some historical background.

UK’s Most Innovative Cyber SME 2022 finalists announced by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS) and Infosecurity Europe

Richmond, Surrey, UK: Fourteen of the UK’s most creative and original information security businesses have been shortlisted in the UK’s Most Innovative Cyber SME 2022 contest, run by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS) in partnership with Infosecurity Europe, Europe’s most influential information security event, and technology trade association techUK.

This is the seventh year that the organisations have teamed up for the prestigious contest, which was open to micro, small and medium cybersecurity businesses registered in the UK. The overall winner will be announced live on the Innovation Showcase stage at Infosecurity Europe 2022 (21-23 June at ExCeL London) on Tuesday 22 June at 16:45.
