Leading security solutions and personnel provider Cardinal Security has been nominated for ACS Champion of the Year at the Security Excellence Awards 2013.
The company will go head-to-head with seven leading security providers in a bid to scoop the prestigious title awarded by the Security Industry Authority’s Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS). The award recognises security providers, which continue to raise standards, promote best practice and create a safer environment for the public as well as better opportunities for participants in the private security sector.
Diane Johnson, Managing Director of Cardinal Security, said: “When the Security Industry Authority first created the ACS, the intention was to drive quality and improve standards across the industry. To be nominated - and for the third year in a row - is a true honour and a great reflection on the work we do with retailers, at events and with our experienced and professionally qualified security officers. We look forward to the awards in October and wish the best of luck to all of the nominees.
Cardinal Security was established in 2003 to deliver dynamic and innovative security solutions throughout the UK. It is an approved contractor through the SIA and achieved a score of 102 in the most recent SIA audit, placing it in the top five percent of all UK security providers. The ACS champion of the year category is open to all SIA Approved contractors. It identifies businesses that have taken exceptional steps to raise standards and promote the ACS and its benefits to customers and key stakeholders.
The Security Excellence Awards, now in their 15th year, recognise the achievements of security professionals in the management, installation, consultancy and manufacturing sub-sectors. The awards cover every aspect of security from guarding and training to innovative technology solutions.
