Dell’s all-in-one digital forensics platform aimed at government, banking and telco sectors across Middle East
ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates: AccessData, the pioneer of digital investigations and litigation support, in partnership with Dell Inc. (NASDAQ: DELL) recently introduced the Dell Digital Forensics Platform and the revolutionary Forensic Toolkit 4.0 (FTK) at the International Security and National Resilience (ISNR) exhibition being held in Abu Dhabi.
“The launch of the FTK 4.0 is a significant milestone that marks the next phase of our efforts here in the Middle East. This release, which is unlike any other previously seen in the region, enables court-cited digital investigations and is built for speed, analytics and accuracy,” said Simon Whitburn, VP International Sales at AccessData.
FTK is recognized around the world as the standard in computer forensics software with its intuitive interface, email analysis, customizable data views and stability. The all-in-one solution allows users to process a wide range of data types from forensic images to email archives; analyze the registry; conduct an investigation; decrypt files; crack passwords; create images and build reports. AccessData offers two expansion modules with the new version—Cerberus, a malware triage technology that provides threat scores and disassembly analysis to determine both the behaviour and intent of suspect binaries, and Virtualization for relationship analysis in multiple display formats, including timelines, cluster graphs, pie charts and more.
“We developed the combined platform in response to significant customer demand, in large part from this region. Dell has worked with us to provide a turn key digital forensics solution that enables our clients to get mobile very quickly. Partnerships with such leading organizations will play a pivotal role in our expansion in the region,” said Whitburn.
AccessData entered the Middle East IT market in 2010. As the only vendor to offer static, volatile and network data forensics solutions, it has seen tremendous success in the region with over 100% year-on-year growth. Its unique solutions portfolio is customized for deployment in government, banking and telecom sectors where data security is crucial. Its plans for expansion in the region include a focus on the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Saudi Arabia markets and it is due to set up an office in Abu Dhabi later this year.
The ISNR exhibition and conference is organized in association with the UAE Ministry of Interior. The UAE is one of the fastest growing homeland security (HLS) markets in the world and is expected to reach AED 11.8 billion (USD$3.21 bn) by 2013. The three-day event attracts key players in the sector and showcases solutions that cover the entire spectrum of homeland security.
AccessData and Dell will be co-presenting the Forensic Toolkit and the Dell Digital Forensics solution at SecureTech stand AT05.
