Israel’s fastest growing technology company, Tufin Technologies on April 24th-26th in London at Earl’s Court, Venue of this year's InfoSecurity Europe showcased its SecureTrack which enables organisations to command and control their security through the instrumentality of a Dashboard.
According to Michael Hamelin SecureTrack features an executive dashboard and a set of powerful browser which allows end users to instantly assess the status their firewalls and routers, helping to analyse and diagnose issues and remediate them all from one command and control centre.
Explaining further Hamelin said: The dashboard gives you instant visibility into your current security posture. It displays risks, all of the latest changes, and any access rules and objects that need to be cleaned up or optimized.”
He added: “The dashboard widgets provide key performance indicators, scores and trends, and include a variety of filters and views so that all of the key data is at your fingertips. From each of the dashboard widgets, you can drill down to a browser to perform investigation, diagnosis and remediation.”
Whilst the Risk Browser he said enables you to view the individual risk factors that contribute to your overall Security Risk Score, such as risky and permissive rules. Adding Risky rules allow traffic between certain network zones, usually from an insecure zone to a more secure one. With Network Topology Intelligence, SecureTrack automatically determines the zones and identifies the risky rules.
And the Change Browser he said organizes many of SecureTrack’s proven change management and tracking capabilities into one convenient browser that enables you to view all changes made within a given time period.
Throwing more light Hamelin enthused: “You can browse changes to specific environments (such as a data centre or customer) and time frames (such as today) to analyze problematic configuration changes quickly.”
On the Clean-up Browser Hamelin told Vigilance that it enables users to view the individual rules and objects that need to be optimized or removed, such as shadowed rules or unattached objects.
According to Hamelin it is not enough to just to introduce new products into the market as they have done this year as in the case of 12-1 in February 2012 and 21-2 which he said at the time of the interview would come out at the end of April, 2012, feedbacks from customers he said are also very important. And in an answer to what the feedback on these products from customer have been, he beamed with blessed and said, “Great!”
Hamelin attributes the rapidity of their innovations and their quality to their Research and Development unit together with Quality and Design which he said work together as a team on any product, adding “That’s how they are able to come out with the best.”
Revealed he: “Every two months there is a release. This year we want to make sure the products are much tighter in innovations so that customers can have more benefits of both products.”
