SAN DIEGO, Calif.: Cubic Corporation’s, Orlando-based Simulation Systems Division has announced it has received two separate $15 million delivery orders ($30 million total) from Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) to develop instructor-led and instructor facilitated self-paced courseware for ship engineers standing the Engineering Plant Technician (EPT) watch aboard the United States Navy’s Littoral Combat Ships. The activity will be led from Cubic’s Advanced Learning Solutions Business Unit.
The Littoral Combat Ship program represents the United States Navy’s most advanced designs, capabilities and technologies to create the next generation of surface vessels that can operate in dangerous shallow and near-shore environments.

This program represents a strategic partnership between the United States military, government and industry. Cubic Advanced Learning Solutions will partner with Cubic Mission Support Services, and a team of industry leading subcontractors. The courseware development programs will be conducted in Orlando, Fla.
