London, UK: Becrypt Inc confirms that FCN Technology Solutions has become its first fully-certified partner in the United States of America. FCN Technology Solutions, a full service solutions provider and systems integrator to the Federal Government, headquartered in Rockville, Maryland, is now qualified to sell and support Becrypt’s End Point Protection Suite of comprehensive security products including Disk Protect, an accredited full disk encryption solution, and Becrypt’s Centralized Management Server technology. Selected from Becrypt’s growing partner community to become its first certified partner, FCN has already successfully introduced Becrypt to key components of the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS). FCN plans to roll out Becrypt solutions to other Federal agencies where demand for innovative encryption and authentication technology that protects data on multiple form factors, including the latest tablet devices, is growing rapidly.
The agreement ends FCN’s search for a reliable and flexible security solution to support today’s burgeoning tablet market while offering the highest levels of encryption through a single, integrated interface. In addition to meeting stringent certification requirements including Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) and Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 140-2 government computer security standards, Becrypt’s products are designed to secure an unprecedented range of Windows 7 and Windows 8 tablets from one easy to manage platform.
Gil A. Van Schoor, Vice President, DHS Initiatives, DHS FirstSource II Program Manager, U.S. Air Force NETCENTS II Program Manager, FCN Technology Solutions, commented, “Quite simply, Becrypt stands out from the crowd: simple implementation and worldwide support wrapped up in the best, most comprehensive package we have ever encountered. Our investment in Becrypt technology is a significant step forward. It strengthens our portfolio substantially by broadening the total number of brands we can support. This will enable our customers in DHS and beyond to take advantage of the latest mobile technology and vastly enhance their delivery of critical security services to US citizens at home and abroad.”
With Becrypt solutions, FCN can offer a powerful value proposition that will give government organizations the ability to control any tablet device from anywhere in the world. Unlike many software applications which have to be set up by an experienced IT professional, Becrypt products are quickly installed with user-friendly downloadable modules out in the field.
Dr Bernard Parsons, CEO at Becrypt added: “Today, the need to protect sensitive data on the move is more important than ever before and customers rely on us to develop innovative mobile security solutions that promise swift deployment and deliver outstanding levels of service. Our agreement with FCN gives us a superb opportunity to learn and share knowledge as we tap into their wealth of expertise in the highly complex, specialist Federal Government marketplace. It gives both parties the perfect platform to maximize the potential of this huge industry and we look forward to creating a long and mutually successful partnership with FCN.”
