Rolling Meadows, IL, USA: 2013 has been declared the year of the hybrid cloud and the year of the hack. To help enterprises prepare, ISACA, a global association of 100,000 IT professionals, is hosting a free virtual conference, titled Enterprise Risk Management: Provide Security from Cyberthreats, on Tuesday, 19 March 2013, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. CDT (UTC-5).

Experts presenting at this virtual conference will provide practical actions for users and suppliers. Sessions include:

Attendees will learn how to protect sensitive assets in the cloud, how to defend against techniques of the modern hacker, and how to choose cloud services wisely.

A spotlight session will be presented by ISACA Director Jo Stewart-Rattray, CISA, CISM, CGEIT, CRISC, FACS CP, of BRM Holdich, who will discuss the findings of ISACA’s recent advanced persistent threat (APT) survey titled Advanced Persistent Threat Awareness: Study Results. The global cybersecurity survey of more than 1,500 security professionals found that more than one in five respondents said their enterprise has experienced an advanced persistent threat (APT) attack. More than 60 percent of survey respondents say that it’s only a matter of time before their enterprise is targeted.
