Media and entertainment company successfully using Accellion for Secure Collaboration including a major EU education project

Accellion, Inc., the award-winning pioneer in providing enterprise-class, secure mobile file sharing solutions, has announced that Vibe Voices, a specialist in recording voice-overs for international clients, is using Accellion to securely share large media files, as well as collaborate between recording artists and clients throughout the production process.

As part of the Belgium-based Vibe Group, Vibe Voices clients include international broadcasters, production companies, film distributors, medical science, healthcare, and government institutions. One such client is the EuroparlTV project sponsored by the European Parliament. The project aims to educate schools throughout the EU and contracted Vibe to record voice-overs in twenty-one languages for each video used by the project. Vibe selected Accellion’s Secure Workspace feature to securely collaborate with other teams in the project, sharing scripts, comments and audio-files.

“We needed a highly secure solution that would let us collaborate on projects with very large files,” said Tim Van Renterghem, owner and founder of Vibe Group. “For just one client, we can share more than 80 files per day ranging in size from 500MB to several Gigabytes. Accellion does this with ease, and helps us provide a first class customer experience. We even get notifications on receipt, when comments are made or when new files are uploaded. This makes us very responsive.”

The implementation has been so successful that Vibe has been using it to share other types of files, including product brochures. Van Renterghem is also looking at how Accellion can help other parts of the Group including Vibe Security, a new IT Security services division. The use of Accellion is critical to meet Data Protection laws in Luxemburg that state certain data may not leave the country. Accellion’s private cloud solution means clients can be confident all their secure file sharing is both secure and stored locally.

“Vibe Group is incredibly innovative and their use of our mobile collaboration tools is very interesting,” said Paul Steiner, VP EMEA at Accellion, Inc. “Vibe offers their clients a superior service and we’re proud that we can help them do this more efficiently and with the confidence that their content is secure.”
