Woking, Surrey: The explosion in the amount of data produced by companies is bringing new security challenges for IT managers, said Ian Kilpatrick, chairman of Wick Hill Group, speaking as the company announced its plans for the Infosecurity Europe 2013 show in April.
“Companies of all sizes are now having to secure terabytes and petabytes of data. That data is often stored and accessed from a range of locations such as on smartphones and tablets, on virtual servers, or in the cloud. All these have their own individual security needs, and the challenge for IT managers today is how to secure and manage large volumes of data in an increasingly vulnerable environment.”
Solutions on show
Wick Hill will be showing solutions from two new vendors in the fields of secure wireless networks and encryption at Infosecurity Europe 2013. This is alongside the latest product launches, and new versions of solutions from Wick Hill’s comprehensive existing security portfolio.
This includes solutions such as UTMs, mobile device security, virtualisation security, convergence security, anti-malware, strong authentication, SIEM, endpoint security and cloud security.
Wick Hill vendors include many market-leading companies, such as Check Point, Barracuda Networks, LogLogic, WatchGuard, Xirrus, Kaspersky Lab and Imation.
