Belfast, UK: Guardian24 has been selected as this year's winner of the prestigious Award for LONE WORKER SOLUTIONS 2014, an independent Award scheme that is sponsored by Security Industry E-Mag and acknowledged both in this country and abroad.
Having built-up an enviable reputation as a supplier of innovative and cutting edge security solutions to the UK Lone Worker market, Guardian24 is no stranger when it comes to receiving accolades, as they were voted outright winner of the IFSEC 2013 Lone Working ‘Product of the Year Award’. Achieving this second prestigious Award serves as a distinguishing factor, ranking Guardian24 amongst the best in its field.
Guardian24 can be used on a wide range of devices such as a BlackBerry® smartphone, iPhone, Android smartphone, Windows PDA, Mobile Phone or specialist Lone Worker Panic Alarm Device. BS8484 accredited, the Guardian24 solution is designed to help protect mobile, field and remote workers. Guardian24 allows users to log their daily tasks, get GPS location fixes, and any other important information. Should the users safety be compromised they can easily summon help with the press of a panic button on their chosen device, at this stage the service will record live audio and immediately notify a nominated respondent. If an activity over runs Guardian24 will automatically call the lone worker to verify their safety. If the lone worker cannot be reached a nominated respondent will be notified informing them of the overrun activity. At this stage an agreed protocol will be followed to verify the lone worker’s safety and location.
Today the Guardian24 system has become the industry flagship and the best-in-breed that others seek to emulate. Key to securing this Award was the company's continual commitment to Research & Development, evident when Guardian24 recently launched its' fully functional G24 Apple iPhone application.
The company's CEO Henry Woods went on to say: "We are very pleased to receive this award from Security Industry Magazine. It's helpful for customers who are trying to make complex buying decisions to see that an independent expert has evaluated some of the choices available and can make some clear recommendations. Awards play an important part in that process. It's very gratifying that Security Industry magazine has so clearly understood our strategy and recognised us accordingly."
