BT Redcare, a leading fire and security specialist has announced that its alarm monitoring services are now available in Ireland.

Alarm monitoring services ensure that your alarm system isn’t ignored. Instead of the noise only alert that standard alarms provide – which are generally ignored by neighbours and passers-by; a monitored service provides 24 hours x 7 days a week protection for homes and businesses – whether that be from burglary, fire or other emergencies.

BT Redcare, a dedicated business within BT Group, has been a leader in the fire and security market for 26 years, and is the largest supplier of alarm signaling services in the UK, securing hundreds of thousands of homes and businesses with our services.

BT Redcare is launching its Secure portfolio in Ireland, which consists of three products – Secure International, Secure IP International and Secure Solo.

Mark Murphy, CEO at BT Redcare said: “Homeowners and businesses in Ireland will now be able to take advantage of our market-leading monitored communications services to ensure that their homes, premises and assets are safe twenty four hours a day.”

Mr Murphy added:  “BT Redcare’s advanced security service works on fixed lines (Secure, Secure IP) or using a GPRS signal (Solo) to send messages to Alarm Receiving Centres when the system is tampered with, the line is cut or it detects a break-in. The ARC will then instantly notify the appropriate authorities - police or fire service, or keyholder(s). This ensures that businesses or homeowners can be safe in the knowledge that their premises are secure.”

With over 26 years of experience, BT Redcare serves some of the largest organisations in the world. BT Redcare’s platform operates across a number of market applications; including alarm security, public space surveillance, financial services and building management.
