THE DUMBING DOWN OF VALUES IN THE AGE OF JONATHAN: STANDARDS IN PUBLIC LIFE BEGINNING AT THE PRESIDENCY
Having been dissatisfied over the years about the quality of men elected into the exalted office of President, I had written an essay published then in The Daily Times entitled Presidency: Exalted Office for the Exalted Minds by which I meant, that hallowed office is not to be trivialised to the point of electing or apponting people of Liliputian worth to serve therein. Correspondingly, the same applies to all persons, whether citizens or foreigners who have one business or another to do there.
