Trusteer this week received a medal for its cybercrime prevention architecture in the Technology Excellence Awards category at the prestigious UK IT Industry Awards, held at Battersea Parks Events Arena. The annual awards, organised and run by BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, and Computing, are the benchmark for excellence throughout the computer industry and offer a platform for the entire profession to celebrate best practice, innovation and excellence.
Speaking about the results, David Clarke, MBE, Chief Executive Officer of BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT said, "The awards are very rigorously judged so to be a winner or medallist means that you really are the best of the best."
With this year’s theme ‘Celebrating IT Excellence’, Trusteer fought off some stiff competition in the hotly contested Security Innovation of the Year category which rewards innovative new products or services that have delivered measurable benefit for customers in areas such as IT security, data protection, information management, risk management, business continuity, or disaster recovery.
Each solution – Trusteer Rapport, Trusteer Pinpoint, Trusteer Situation Room and Trusteer Flashlight was extensively judged by industry experts, against three key criteria:
Innovation;
Measurable success; and
Customer satisfaction.
Mickey Boodaei, Trusteer’s CEO, said, “We’re absolutely delighted to be named medallists in the UK IT Industry Awards for Security Innovation of the Year. It’s another fabulous endorsement for our solutions and recognition for all the hard work and diligence that the team here at Trusteer, both in the UK and around the globe, bring to the table every single day. Tens of millions of people now use Trusteer Rapport to protect their personal information, credentials and bank accounts against theft and fraudulent use. ”Trusteer is committed to use our expertise and cutting-edge technology to maximize our customers’ protection against Cybercrime.”
