The British Security Industry Association (BSIA) appointed Steve Lampett as the organisation’s new Technical Officer, Vigilance can report.
Joining the Association today (1st June), Steve brings with him a wealth of experience in the security industry, having fulfilled several roles at ADT Fire and Security in various different areas of electronic fire and security, including quality, environmental, health and safety and technical. For the past four years, Steve has worked as a QEHS consultant in the manufacturing and construction industries.
As part of the BSIA’s knowledgeable Technical Team, Steve will report to newly-promoted Technical Manager, Paul Phillips, and will provide essential support for many of the Association’s sections of membership, meeting the growing demand for technical support services.
Steve said: “I am very excited about my new role at the BSIA and am looking forward to working with everyone and supporting the Association’s diverse membership to meet their ever-changing technical needs.”
Dave Wilkinson, Director of Technical Services, enthused: “I am delighted to announce the recruitment of Steve to the our technical team. He will take on the role of Technical Officer to support both Paul and myself in various aspects of our technical work. Steve’s solid grounding in electronic security over the past 21 years will be a major asset to our work in this highly important area of the association.”
